BHPV assets attached by Provident Fund Office

The Employees Provident Fund Organization attached the plant and assets of the Bhart Heavy Plates and Vessels (BHPV) a wing of Bhart Yantra Nigam Limited following its failure to clear PF dues amounting to Rs.23 crores.

The plant and machinery, locomotives, motor vehicles, furniture, office equipment and other movable assets belonging to BHPV were attached on Tuesday in execution of a warrant of attachment issued by the EPF Recovery Officer of the Sub-Regional Office. The warrant of attachment was executed by the Enforcement Officers (recovery) SVKSR Murty and K.Pallavadhara Rao.
