Two persons involved in seven burglary cases arrested

17 tolas of gold ornaments and cash worth Rs.1.6 lakhs recovered

The Circle Inspector Ravi Varma and Sub Inspector RVK Chowdary arrested K Narasimha Murty of Peda Gantyada and D Sriramulu of Rajahmundry at Balacheruvu Road on Saturday night. The accused persons were involved in seven burglary cases.

The Gajuwaka police recovered 17 tolas of gold ornaments and cash worth Rs.1.6 lakhs, 40 tolas of silver ornaments and a motorcycle according to police sources. Meanwhile, th Fifth town Circle Inspector Venkata Rao and City Crimes Inspector CMS Prakash arrested K Krishna on Saturday night and seized 1 kg opium from him. The police are investigating the case. In another incident, the Task Force officials on the early hours on Sunday seized the Compact Disk of a new film Lakshyam from a cable operator according to One Town Circle Inspector K Ramakrishna Prasad.
