Robbers makes away with 25 tolas of Gold ornaments

Some unidentified persons gained entry into the house of an Assistant Manager of Andhra Bank on the Sunday afternoon and fled away with gold ornaments weighing 25 tolas of Gold ornaments. The incident took place at Vinayakanagar VUDA Colony in Gajuwaka.
According to police sources, V Santikumar who resides in the house went to the Church on Sunday morning at around 9:30 AM along with his family. After they returned from the Church, they found that the doors were opened and found that the house was burgled. They noticed that the robbers made entry by breaking open the main door lock and took away 25 tolas of gold ornaments, Rs.20,000 cash and 5 cellphones.
On noticing the crime, he lodged a complaint with Police. The Circle Inspector of Police Mallikharjuna Rao along with his team of police personnel rushed to the spot. The police are of the opinion that it is the handiwork of old criminals. As the victim expressed doubt on an auto driver, the police took him for investigation.
