13 party supporters from Congress and TDP arrested

The Gajuwaka police arrested 13 persons belonging to Congress and Telugu Desam Party workers on Tuesday. As a part of Intinta Indiramma programme in the Gajuwaka 53 ward, when photos was shot at Vadlapudi, a clash was occurred between Gorle Venku Naidu of TDP and Congress leader Pragada Venu Babu on November 7.

From the date of the clash these two persons were taking medical treatment in a private hospital. On the basis of a complaint lodged by Venku Naidu, the police arrested A Satyanarayana, K Maheswara Rao, D Danappa, Pragada Srinivasa Rao, Venkata Appa Rao and Rajgopal.

On the other side, Venu Babu lodged a complaint with the police and basing on it, the police arrested persons belong to TDP leaders V Prasad, Ganga Raju, Swami Naidu, Pentayya, Chinnam Naidu. All the 13 persons arrested were sent to remand and Gajuwaka Circle Inspector Ravi Varma and Sub Inspector Venkata Rao are investigating the case.
