The Gajuwaka police arrested a man on Friday on the charge of harassing his wife for dowry. He was arrested previously on the same charge and was released on bail six months ago. Of late, he once again allegedly started harassing his wife for dowry. On October 10, 2007, he also allegedly misbehaved with his wife Nagamani following which she lodged a complaint with the police.

In another incident, S Ramana and his parents were arrested on Friday on the charge of dowry harassment. Ramana's wife lodged a complaint with the police that her husband and in laws were harassing her for dowry. The Gajuwaka police registered a case and are investigating.
